*Although it is perfectly acceptable to say 'ich bin hungrig' or 'er ist durstig', the more common way to say these are 'ich habe Hunger' and 'er hat Durst'
**Please note that when using 'heiss', 'kalt', 'kühl', and 'warm' to describe a person, it actually means 'hot shit', 'cold and unfeeling', 'lacking in cordiality', and 'kind and loving' respectively. There is no indication of temperature when using these adjectives with people, only with objects. To indicate temperature with people, you must use the dative pronouns, which are a whole other lesson. They go some thing like this: mir ist kalt, dir ist warm, ihm ist heiss, ihr ist kühl
***I've only ever known 'satt' to mean full as in no longer hungry. I've never heard it as 'this cup is full'
****The G in 'orange' is pronounced as a soft English J
